Kokomo man arrested for robbery

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - A Kokomo man is under arrest, accused of robbery. The incident took place at approximately 6:30pm Wednesday, when police received a report of a strong-armed robbery.

Kokomo police say that Justin Fogle told them he was struck in the back of the head and knocked off his bike by a Hispanic male, approximately six feet tall. Fogle said the suspect took personal items from him.

Later, Kokomo police made a traffic stop and detained ElRicky Sanchez. Sanchez was later taken into custody and charged with robbery, a class C felony.

The case remains under investigation and anyone with additional information is urged to contact authorities.
