Kokomo Police find teens robbing home

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - Kokomo Police found and detained two juveniles who broke into a home Friday night.

Officers responded to a report of two suspicious juveniles in the area of the 1100 block of South Purdum.

Upon arrival, they found a 17-year-old male attempting to cover a broken window on the residence.

They investigated further and found a 16-year-old in the home, who had also assisted with breaking in.

Police say they detained both boys and took them to the Kinsey Youth Center.

The teens were charged with Burglary, a Class B Felony, Aiding, Inducing or causing a Burglary, a Class B Felony, Theft, a Class D Felony, and Possession of Stolen Property, a Class D Felony.
