Kokomo police search for suspects

KOKOMO, IN. (WISH) - Kokomo Police are searching for three men wanted for an armed robbery early Saturday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the Kokomo Manor Apartments on Elk Drive around 12:45 am.

There, they spoke to a victim who told officers that he and his brother were walking in the west parking lot of the apartment complex when they were approached by three men.

One of the men pointed a handgun at the victims and ordered them to the ground.

While on the ground, the victims were searched by the suspects.

One of the victims was struck in the face with the handgun.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise from the victims, then fled on foot.

The victim that was struck in the face was taken to Howard Regional Health Systems where he received stitches to his face.
