Kokomo shooting suspect arraigned Tuesday

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - The man accused in the random killings and shootings in Kokomo made his initial court appearance before a Howard County judge via teleconference Tuesday morning.

Turama Stitts faces charges in connection with the shooting of four people last week in Kokomo.

Tuesday a judge entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and appointed a public defender.

Stitts is preliminarily scheduled to stand trial in Howard Superior Court 2 at 1:30 p.m. on June. 5.
