LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) - A daycare and a dozen homes were evacuated Wednesday after a gas leak in Lebanon, officials say.
Crews had the leak fixedthe large gas leak around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Around noon, Lebanon Police and Fire heard there was a gas leak near Ascot Drive and Citation Circle West on the town’s northwest side.
A crew struck a high-pressure natural gas line, causing several leaks to develop. No injuries were reported, but police say they evacuated 12 to 14 homes and a daycare with 10 preschool children.
