Madison County 911 lines down

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Madison County 911 lines are currently down throughout the county.

Delaware County dispatchers say they will be handling all Madison County 911 calls until the problem is resolved. Two dispatchers from Madison County are currently working out of Delaware County facilities.

Authorities do not yet know what caused the issue, which started around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
