FRANKFORT, Ind. (WISH) - A Frankfort man was sentenced to prison for the death of his girlfriend’s 1-year-old daughter in July 2011.

Jason Bauer was sentenced to 45 years in prison. Veronica Gaeta, his girlfriend’s 1-year-old daughter, died July 16, 2011, after Bauer said she had fallen down the stairs. He was watching Veronica and her three siblings while their mother was at work.
