KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - Police hope a Tuesday autopsy will provide them with answers as to how an 85-year-old man died.

Howard County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home in the 1100 block of Miller Street near Kokomo just after noon Monday after the man’s relatives told officers they couldn’t get Lonnie Lewis to come to the door.

Deputies forced their way into the home and found Lewis dead inside. According to a news release, evidence at the scene indicated Lewis suffered some injuries which may have contributed to his death.

Deputies ask anyone who may have seen Lewis in recent days to call Greg Hargrove of the Howard County Sheriff's Department Criminal Investigations Section, 765-456-2031 ext: 236.
