INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Frankfort man has been arrested on murder and neglect charges following the death of a 1-year-old girl at an Indianapolis Hospital.

A warrant was issued Monday for 29-year-old Jason Bauer following an investigation into baby Veronica Gaeta’s death.

Veronica was rushed to a Clinton County hospital on July 15 after dispatchers received a 911 call asking for medical help. Doctors there determined Veronica needed to be airlifted to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

Veronica died the next day.

Bauer faces a charge of murder and neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
