More charges filed in puppy death case

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Madison County man jailed on charges he strangled his girlfriend and killed her dog and its 8 puppies is facing a total of 11 felony charges, the Anderson Police Department announced Tuesday.

He faces charges ranging from domestic battery to robbery in connection with the Feb. 29th incident which police claim was an attempt to rob his girlfriend of her tax return.

White was arrested on nine preliminary charges of cruelty to an animal, along with a preliminary charge of strangulation. He was out on bond from Randolph County for four battery charges and one child molesting charge. He was being held in Madison County on $100,000 bond.
