Motorcycle bought with bogus bills crashes

MADISON COUNTY,Ind. (WISH) - A motorcycle allegedly purchased with counterfeit money crashed about a mile south of where the sale had taken place.

Madison County Sheriff's Department were investigating a report of a theft of a white Harley Davidson.  The complainant told police a white male purchased the motorcycle with counterfeit money. 

A short time later police were notified of a crash on State Road 9 where a motorcyclist lost control in the curve just north of County Road 950 South. 

The injured driver was flown by medical helicopter to IU Health Methodist Hospital for treatment.
