Muncie school bus crashes, sending several to hospital

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) - Multiple students were sent to Ball Memorial Hospital Tuesday morning for bumps and bruises after a school bus struck a pole in Muncie.

The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police dispatchers say a Muncie Community Schools bus hit a pole in the parking lot of Northside Middle School. In all, 23 students were taken to the hospital, but none were seriously injured.

All students will be released to their parents at some point Tuesday.
