TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Law enforcement officers in Tippecanoe County are cracking down on impaired driving, according to our sister station WLFI.
Friday kicks off the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign. The blitz will include high-visibility enforcement and high-profile events.
Authorities say they will arrest anyone caught driving impaired.
Police say last year, there were nearly 5,000 alcohol-related crashes in Indiana.
"Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" event starts Friday and lasts through the Labor Day holiday weekend.
