LAFAYETTE, IN.(WISH) - One person was hurt in a crash on I-65 near the 186 mile marker in White County early Saturday morning.
Trooper Darrick Scott reported that a black 2005 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 22 year old Erica B. Wheelock, from Goodland, Indiana was northbound when for an unknown reason went off onto the emergency lane.
A witness stated that she over corrected and then it appeared she lost control causing the vehicle to flip several times ejecting her out of the sun roof.
Wheelock was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette, Indiana with internal injuries.
Her condition is not known.
Trooper Scott says Wheelock was not wearing her seatbelt.
