One person dead in Madison County crash

MADISON CO. IN (WISH) - An Alexandria woman has died in a two car crash that happened Friday afternoon in Madison County.
Madison County authorities say Jonathan Blanton of Gaston was northbound on County Road 300 west, when he failed to stop at the intersection of County Road 300 west and County Road 1100 north.
Blanton ran into a car driven by Racheal Stinson of Alexandria.
The impact of the crash forced both vehicles off the roadway and into a ditch on the northwest corner of the intersection.
Both drivers were taken to Community Hospital in Anderson.
Blanton was treated for abrasions to the right hip and leg.
Stinson was pronounced dead at the hospital from massive head injuries.
