CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - Police in Frankton, Indiana are now going school to school looking for more victims after 28-year-old Clinton Couch admitted to molesting a 13-year-old boy.
According to court documents the Frankton man befriended the young boy in the last year and is accused of having sex with them.
"It's hard to believe. It's just. I just can't believe it. I don't want to believe. It's reality. It did happen" the victim’s father told 24-Hour News 8.
"We trusted this man he was coming into our family. We went to dinner with him. We ate with his parents," mom said.
The boy’s parents say they first heard disturbing things about Couch on Black Friday. That's when another boy warned them saying Couch takes pictures of young boys.
The 13-year-old victim's mom approached her son who at first didn't want to talk about Couch, but later admitted, Couch molested him.
“He said, ‘mom, Clint did hurt me. He did take pictures of me naked. I had to pose,’” the boy confessed,
Threats made by Couch kept the 13-year-old quiet for more than 3 months.
"(Couch) told him he would kill him if he told us" said mom.
Madison County prosecutor Rodney Cummings says the case against Couch is on going.
"We assume there may be some other victims out there. Investigators are working with school authorities trying to identify some of the young people whose photographs we have that were collected in the search warrant at the house. So we're trying to identify those juveniles as well as hoping that those parents, who have suspicions, please let the state police investigators know" said Cummings
The boy’s parents are hopeful other victims will come forward.
