Police: Woman killed by drunk driver

FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) - A 27-year-old woman is dead after deputies said she was hit and killed by a drunk driver.
Clinton County deputies said it happened just before 5 a.m. Sunday.
Police said the woman was crossing the street on Ind. 39 just outside of the Frankfort city limits, when a black pick-up truck traveling south struck and killed her.
Deputies said the driver, Joseph W. Stahl, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated resulting in death. He was taken to Clinton County Jail.
The victim's identity was not released, pending notification of her family.
