TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Several counties are reporting their 911 lines are down Monday morning. The cause of the outages are not yet known.
Our sister station WLFI is reporting that 911 lines are down in Tippecanoe County. Officials are advising residents to contact the Lafayette Police at 765-807-1200 in the event of an emergency.
Those who live outside the city limits may call the Sheriffs' Officer at 765-423-9321.
Cell phones are still able to call 911 in Tippecanoe County.
Additionally, in Carroll County, locals are not able to call 911 from their cell phones. We will update this story throughout the morning.
The Tipton County Police are also reporting 911 lines down throughout the area. Tipton officials are asking locals to please call 765-675-2111.
