LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) - Chicago winds were so strong Friday that fliers involved in the Flugtag event were forced to be grounded.

Red Bull offered to purchase Purdue's flying drum for $1,000 or for a guaranteed spot in the 2013 Flugtag event.

Purdue's team is determined to one day fly, therefore, they kept their winged version of the world's largest drum.

Purdue will be looking for a place to store the drum for the remainder of the year.
