WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Purdue believes it has found a way to accommodate parking for football and basketball fans during Saturday's rare doubleheader.
School officials issued guidelines Tuesday, saying football fans can park in their normal spots and will not have to move their cars afterward. The school says cars in those lots will not be towed.
Meanwhile, basketball fans can park in the same lots with a basketball permit starting at halftime of the football game — as long as spaces are available.
Kickoff for the Penn State game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The basketball team plays its second exhibition game, against Newberry, at 8 p.m.
