Students find loaded gun in ceiling

KOKOMO, Ind. (Kokomo Tribune) - Students in Kokomo said they found a loaded handgun and an extra clip in the ceiling of their classroom at the Kokomo Area Career Center on Friday.
The students say a tape measurer they were playing with hit the ceiling and a loaded gun fell to the ground, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Kokomo Tribune reports.
Police confiscated the gun and no one was injured.
The school district released few details on the incident.
