Suspicious package found at bus station

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) - Police in Muncie are investigating after a suspicious package was found near a bus station.

Muncie Police Chief Stewart says a bomb dog responded to the package at the MITS transfer station located in downtown Muncie.

County police were responding with bomb equipment to remove the package around 8:45 p.m.

After investigating, police say the package was a make-up bag.
