FRANKFORT, Ind. (WISH) - An investigation is underway after a Clinton County toddler died at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis Saturday.

Frankfort Police and the Indiana Department of Child Services are conducting the joint investigation following Monday’s autopsy.

Clinton County dispatchers received a 911 call Friday, July 15 requesting medics to treat an injured child. Police say an ambulance took Veronica Gaeta to St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital where she was flown to Indianapolis.

Police declined to give any further information into their investigation saying any further details would come from the Clinton County prosecutor’s office.
