Trial begins for four prison inmates

ANDERSON, Ind. (The Herald Bulletin) - An attempted murder trial for four Pendleton Correctional Facility inmates was scheduled to begin Tuesday, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, The Herald-Bulletin , reports.

Joseph Martin, Matthew Fitzgerald, Daniel Bradley and Jeffrey Troxal are accused of inciting a riot on Feb. 8, 2008. Inmate Marco Shugars was stabbed in the head.

Madison County Circuit Court 6 Judge Dennis Carroll is presiding over the jury trial in Anderson City Court.
