MARION, Ind (WISH) - Two people who were arrested Kentucky on unrelated charges have now been charged with murder in Marion. Police believe that Lacey Bradley and James Griffith are responsible for the death of Duwayne Lindsey.
Marion authorities found Lindsey’s body in his home July 27; however they believe he was killed in the early morning hours July 21. Police say they think Lindsey was struck in the head several times, and also stabbed. According to police, numerous firearms, collectable coins, and a large amount of money were taken from the home.
Bradley and Griffith were arrested, along with another male July 25 by Kentucky State Police after troopers discovered that the registration on the vehicle they were in belonged to another vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a large amount of firearms, coins, and money. Kentucky authorities checked the firearms, trying to determine if they were stolen.
While processing Lindsey’s home July 27, detectives entered what they believed to be stolen firearms. On July 29, the Marion Police Department was notified that firearms that were reported stolen from Lindsey’s house had been discovered in Kentucky and checked to see if they were stolen a few days prior.
Bradley and Griffith remain in the Franklin County, Kentucky jail on unrelated charges.
