LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Cooking a family meal can already be tiring enough, but it can be doubly stressful when ingredients of that meal are limited to food found in a food pantry. That’s why Bauer Community Center is hosting cooking classes for adults using items from a food pantry.

The classes were created to offer simple solutions with delicious results using commodities such as canned goods, bread and pasta.

In collaboration with Nancy’s Broken Circle, classes are offered at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday at 330 Fountain St.

The classes are free and open to the public, and will resume Wednesday.

To RSVP, call the Bauer Community Center at 765-742-4848.
