INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Several communities are lifting water bans.

Zionsville officials announced Tuesday evening that it will lift it's water ban on Wednesday, September 5th at 12 pm.

The Town of Fishers announced today that the Water Conservation Order currently in place will be lifted on Saturday, September 8th. The conservation order, which has been in place since July 12, applied to all Fishers residents receiving water from sources other than wells.

The City of Westfield lifted its water ban Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 pm. Cooler temperatures and steady rainfall over the past month aided in the decision to lift the water restriction.

Whitetown lifted its ban effective noon Wednesday.

Brownsburg officials said its watering ban would be lifted as of 6 p.m. Wednesday. The town issued 66 notices to people violating the ban since it was issued in mid-July.
