Water main breaks cause issues in Boone Co.

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Repairs won't be finished until 9 a.m. Tuesday on a water main break that affected Boone County residents Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Zionsville and Whitestown residents were experiencing low water pressure or a loss of water because of a water main break at 96th Street and Towne Road. residents are experiencing water outages throughout the area.

Citizens Water reports that a contractor struck a 16 inch pipe near 96th Street and Towne Road.

Crews are currently working to fix the system. The problem was expected to be fixed by 9 a.m. Tuesday.
