INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The first day of December is giving us our first mild dose of a wintery morning drive.
Falling snow could cause problems for drivers later Monday morning just as Sunday's slippery roads gave holiday travelers some problems.
Mother Nature is really playing with media. Around 5 a.m., the snow was really coming down but around 6 a.m. it had tapered off.
"The roads so far is not bad, not that slippery, as much as I thought it was going to be," said one driver.
There are patches of ice and slick spots throughout Central Indiana. Salt trucks have been salting the roads preparing since 11:00 p.m. Sunday. At 6 a.m. Monday, they were still out and about, still salting.
