17-year-old charged as adult

    JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A 17-year-old who brought a gun to Indian Creek High School last week has been charged as an adult, the Johnson County Clerk's office has confirmed.

    Clayton Sleighter has been charged with carrying a handgun without a license, a Class C felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor.

    Charges were filed in the Johnson County Superior Court 3.

    No court appearance date for Sleighter has been set at this time.
