3 hurt in Johnson County crash

BARGERSVILLE, IN.(WISH) - A portion of State Road 144 in Johnson County was closed for nearly 5 hours due to a crash that injured three people.
The accident happened around 5:15 am along State Road 144 and Smokey Row Road.
Witnesses say the three were in an S-U-V when they lost control, hit two trees.
The impact caused the S-U-V to flip several times, narrowly missing two homes.
Officers say the injuries were serious and two people were airlifted to area hospitals.
Accident investigators opened the roadway around 9:45 am.
