Fire devastates Bloomington building

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - A Fire devastated a commercial building in Bloomington Wednesday night. Flames broke out around 6:30 at the Eastplex office building on Morningside Drive.

There were a few people inside at the time but they got out safely before firefighters arrive on the scene. No injuries are reported.

The roof was destroyed and there's major damage to the second floor. The first floor sustained just smoke and water damage.

Firefighters say the building is close to a total loss.

Investigators say it will be morning before they can determine a cause. The building houses several businesses.
