BLOOMINGTON, IN.(WISH) - More than 2,600 tips and a year later, Bloomington Police still have no answer in the disappearance of Lauren Spierer.

One year ago, the Indiana University student disappeared after a night out with friends.

The then 20-year-old merchandising student, from New York, was last seen only a few blocks from her apartment at 11th and Walnut streets during the early morning hours on June 3.

Police say on the night she went missing, she was out with friends and went to Kilroy's Sports Bar, then back to her apartment. Then, she and a male friend went to another friends house.

Police say Lauren got bored and decided to walk home alone.

In the days that followed, hundreds of volunteers joined forces with police to search nearby woods and big names such as Attorney Ken Nunn and Colts Owner Jim Irsay offered rewards to find Lauren.

Hundreds of tips poured into police, including a report  of a white pickup truck seen in front of Lauren's apartment near the time she went missing.

Days,  weeks,  then months went by and still no sign of  Lauren.

Then in April, Lauren's father, Robert Spierer told the world his family is losing hope they will ever find their daughter alive.

Still on the one year anniversary of Lauren's disappearance,  her picture is a common sight around campus.

The picture is a constant reminder that a family and a community won't give up in finding Lauren.
