BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - Bloomington Police say an 18-year-old man reported being sexually assaulted at gun point by a man who offered to give him a ride Monday morning.
The victim told police he was walking home from a convenience store and was near 15th Street and Lindbergh when an older, red, hatch-back vehicle pulled up. The male driver asked the victim if he needed a ride. The victim told the man “no.”
Police say that’s when the driver pulled out a pistol and demanded the victim get in the car. The teen told police the suspect drove to a parking lot where he was sexually assaulted.
The suspect drove the victim to the area of 17th Street and Arlington Road where he was let go.
The victim called police and was taken to Bloomington Hospital where he was treated.
Police describe the suspect as a white male in his thirties who had long black hair and scars on the right side of his face.
