GREENWOOD, Ind. (AP) - Former Indiana University basketball coach Bob Knight will be the speaker at a fundraiser for a suburban Indianapolis library.

The Herald-Times reports Knight will speak at The Gathering Place in Greenwood on Oct. 18 with proceeds going to Greenwood Public Library's Hilda Van Arsdale Library Fund. The fund is named for the mother of Tom and Dick Van Arsdale, former Hoosier basketball players who grew up in the city south of Indianapolis and went on to play in the NBA.

Knight's Indiana teams won three NCAA titles before he was fired in 2000.
