Boone County group seeks smoking ban

LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) - A local task force is asking the Boone County commissioners for a county-wide smoking ban, 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Reporter reports .
Tobacco Free Boone County, which counts among its members the Boone County Board of Health, announced the effort at the commissioners’ Wednesday meeting.
The ban would be modeled on a Zionsville ordinance that is the most restrictive in the state, Angie Dickerson, director of the group, told the newspaper.
