GREENWOOD, Ind. (Daily Journal) - Cleaning carpet with a gun stuffed in his pants led a man to shoot himself in Greenwood, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Daily Journal reports.

Jason Strole, 33, shot himself while dragging a hose from a van at Westminster Apartments. The bullet went through the upper back portion of his leg, exciting out his lower leg.

Strole had put the gun in his pants without a holster.

The man’s wounds weren’t considered life-threatening. He was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital for treatment.
