BEDFORD, Ind. (WISH) - To some, it's just a set of numbers: 12-12-12. But today is the day many superstitious love birds get hitched.
And one Bedford couple renewed their vows today.
It's Debbie and Ray Lindsey's 12th wedding anniversary. Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman officiated the ceremony. Her best friend married the Lindseys in the Lawrence County Courthouse on their first wedding day, but has since passed away.
The couple was honored to have the governor take part in their special day.
The two said they'd be lost without each other. Ray Lindsey said he picked the year "2000" to get married so he could easily remember years he and his wife were married.
