MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Morgan County officials said a grass fire that spread closed Ind. 67 in Martinsville.
The fire spread into baled hay, police officials said, and there were at least nine fire departments involved in battling the blaze.
Indianapolis Fire Department has been called in for support.
A tree and a power line fell, and power was out in the area, emergency officials said, but it was unclear if the downed line sparked the fire or happened after it.
As of 9:30 p.m. Monday, the blaze had been extinguished but the highway remained closed, emergency officials said.
