INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Fog blanketed some parts of Central Indiana early Tuesday morning, prompting school delays.

Several school districts in Johnson, Morgan and Shelby counties were on two-hour delays Tuesday as a result of the fog.

Forecast 8 Meteorologist Ken Brewer said visibility was down to one-quarter of a mile or less in some areas. Overnight rain and light winds contributed to thick fog in some places.

Law enforcement officials said there was fog in Brown, Jackson, Rush, Monroe, Bartholomew, Morgan and Putnam counties.

A dense fog advisory was in effect for multiple counties until 10 a.m. See if your county is included here .
