FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - A building originally scheduled to be demolished in Franklin has undergone several repairs.
24-Hour News 8 news partner The Daily Journal reports the former Angel Care building, 1107 N. Main St., was originally scheduled to be torn down by the city because of the excessive water damage and mold infestation. It has been vacant for five years.
The city planned to tear the building down if no repairs were made.
Whiteland resident Megan Smither, a deputy prosecutor, bought the building last month and decided to make the necessary repairs. Smither says she doesn’t know what she wants to do with the building yet.
