MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - The teenager Martinsville Police Department says shot a middle school student Friday appeared to act normal the night before the shooting at Martinsville West Middle School.

Friends of the suspect call the accused shooter a warm guy who would help others with work around the house. Tonya Haltom says the suspect is her son's best friend. She says the teen suspect stayed at here home Thursday night.

"He seemed fined. He never said a word. He never said a word close to do anything," says Haltom. "He had problems with a boy off and on but never did he mention any kind of violence toward to me."

But the teen did hint to his actions on his Facebook page and was expelled by the school.
