GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - Tips from the general public helped police find a man suspected in a Friday bank robbery in Greenwood , police officials said Tuesday.

Greenwood Police released surveillance photos of the man after the robbery at Heartland Community Bank , 489 S. State Road 135. As a result, people called police and offered a name of a man who they say looked like the one in the photos.

After determining where the man might be living and what vehicle he may be driving, an undercover Greenwood Police officer noticed the vehicle at a restaurant blocks away from the bank on Monday.

Officers waited for the man to leave the restaurant before taking him into custody.

Matthew Marsey was arrested on a preliminary charge of robbery, a Class C felony. He was being held Tuesday at the Johnson County Jail on $16,000 bond.
