GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - The Greenwood police officer who got into a heated confrontation outside of a restaurant has been suspended without pay for 30 days the Daily Journal reported Friday.
Nick Dine must attend weekly AA meetings and abstain from drinking or else he could face termination.
The Greenwood Police Merit Commission placed Dine on a zero-tolerance policy, giving the chief the power to randomly test him for alcohol.
Under the ruling, Dine must also undergo anger management classes and take a fitness for duty evaluation on his own dollar.
