GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - A Greenwood Police officer arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated has been suspended from the department for 30 days, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Daily Journal reports.
Zachary Vincent was arrested on Dec. 3 and later pleaded guilty to the charge.
The Greenwood Police Merit Commission suspended Vincent without pay for 30 days. It came from the police chief’s recommendation. Chief John Laut said he thought the punishment was appropriate because it matched punishments for similar incidents by officers in other Central Indiana departments.
