GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - Corporate sponsors are helping to give a Greenwood park a huge makeover.
The project will give the 5-acre park at Lincoln Street a transformation to the pool, trails, sledding hill, and playground areas.
Huntington Bank agreed to donate $25,00 to the project to renovate the Pool Park. The city is also lining up two other corporate donors to contribute $25,000 each.
The city hopes to raise $100,000 to $150,000 in private donations as well as smaller donations. Furthermore, Greenwood has set aside $300,00 in property tax money for the project, our partners at the Daily Journal report.
