GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - A shopping center across from the Greenwood Park Mall is getting major renovations after a new owner saved the center from financial trouble.

Bianco Properties spent $10 million to buy the shopping center after the previous owner filed for bankruptcy. The company is spending about $850,000 on renovations. The facility is getting a new facade, canopy, coat of paint, and roof repairs.

All of the stores and restaurants have stayed open during construction, our partners at the Daily Journal report.

This is the first major renovation of the facility since the 1980s. The shopping center is the home to Half Price Books, Men's Wearhouse, Mattress World, McGee Jewelers, and New China Buffet.
