BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - A fraternity house on Indiana University’s campus caught fire Sunday morning, displacing its residents for a few days.
Indiana University Police Department Chief Cash tells 24-Hour News 8 that IUPD was called to N. Jordan Ave. to the Phi Psi fraternity house at 10:15 a.m.
Callers reported there was smoke in the house.
Fire crews arrived and located a small fire in the attic above a common room in the house.
Damage was done to the roof in order for crews to access the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Residents of the fraternity will be displaced for a few days. Police say the university is working to arrange temporary housing.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious but it will be investigated.
