BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Indiana University has ended two months long searches by naming new chancellors for its South Bend and Richmond regional campuses.
IU President Michael McRobbie announced Thursday that Terry L. Allison has been chosen as the IU South Bend campus' new chancellor. The campus is IU's third-largest regional campus with about 8,300 students. Allison has been a top administrator at Governors State University in University Park, Ill.
McRobbie also announced Thursday the selection of Kathy Cruz-Uribe as chancellor of IU East campus in Richmond, making her the first woman chancellor for the 4,000-student campus. Cruz-Uribe is currently the provost and vice president for academic affairs of California State University at Monterey Bay.
The appointments of both Cruz-Uribe and Allison are subject to the IU Board of Trustees' approval.
