Local governments aim to save money, buy gasoline in bulk

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - Several local governments are working together to save money by buying gasoline in bulk.

Johnson County plans on opening a second fuel station in Center Grove to keep workers from having to drive back to Franklin to fill up. Three other local governments have asked to partner with the county to use the station.

Fire districts from Bargersville and White River will also save money by paying the county for the fuel they use instead of buying fuel themselves, our partners at the Daily Journal report.
